law firm arose from a vision to render quality legal services with integrity in a small firm atmosphere. Rick Kraft and Mike Stone created the firm in 1998. Rick had practiced law for over fifteen years and Mike for almost five years when the decision was made. Both had practiced together in Roswell for their entire careers.
The announcement was made on March 25th, 1998. Neither Rick nor Mike was prepared for the positive response that they received from the community after their announcement. It was overwhelming. The excitement that
they felt was multiplied many times by the uplifting comments, cards, telephone calls and letters from both Roswell residents, and from individuals in southeastern New Mexico and across the state and country.
The law firm opened for business on May 4, 1998 located on the twelfth floor of the Wells Fargo Building in downtown Roswell. Suite 1250 had been completely renovated to meet the needs of the firm and its clientele.
In October 2000, Mike Stone left the firm to move back to his hometown of Seminole, Texas to help with the family business.
Rick feels fortunate to be able to practice law on the highest full floor in the state outside of Albuquerque. From their offices they are able to enjoy a view of the City of Roswell to the north and Sierra Blanca Mountain to the west.
The firm has been truly blessed since its inception. Rick feels very humbled by what has happened to the firm since it first opened its doors. The firm members truly enjoy working in the new setting and are challenged as they work side by side with clients each day helping them through difficult times.
